Santa Baby!

Santa Baby
The evenings are darker, there's a nip in the air and Christmas is so close you can nearly smell the turkey! Now is definitely the time to turn your thoughts to all things shimmery, sparkly, festive and fun! We've picked out some of our favourite festive treats from fab companies in Cheshire.
We adore the vintage wooden Cinderella sign, a present that will delight any self-confessed shoe-aholic. It's available in a choice of colours, made to order by Jacques Designs and available from the fab Bill & Betty where we're sure with their large range of great gift ideas you'll manage to tick off quite a few people on your present list.
For gorgeous greetings cards you don't need to look any further than Eggbert & Daisy's wonderful hand-made creations. These customised Christmas cards are printed in-house on high quality ivory board and hand-finished with sparkling crystals, tiny red holographic stars and their special unique 3D shapes. Available from Not On The High Street where you can check out some of their other 'off the peg' designs too! Once you've sent an Eggbert & Daisy card no other will do!
We ♥ this rustic twig heart entwined with white LED lights and think it will sit alongside your other decorations to give your home a cosy Chritmassy atmosphere. Batteries are included and the battery pack is hidden in a pretty beige gingham pouch. Not just for Christmas, this decoration will set the scene for many a cosy, romantic night in and is available from J'aime Beaucoup.
Our Jacy&Jools 'Winter Sparkles' Collection incorporates sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, pavé balls, faceted onyx and Czech glass to offer you the ultimate choice for the party season. Matching earrings are available to complement many of our bracelets and our hematite and onyx JoJo beads combine to make a super sparkling stack! Don't forget we also offer a custom made service so if our designs give you the inspiration to get creative just drop us an email to discuss your requirements.
How gorgeous are these festive tartan clad soap treats from Groovy Gang Bath & Soap Treats! The Groovy Gang range is handmade by someone who really knows her oils and essences with divine and decadent mixes of delicious aromas presented with outstanding flair and attention to detail. Kate's soaps always look good enough to eat and almost too pretty to use! They make amazing gifts and are availabe from the fabulous Rose and Lee Vintage Living where you're sure to find lots of other furniture and homewares to tempt you!

Purple Reign!

Love it or hate it, the colour purple is huge this Autumn Winter.  From Hilary Duff to Charlize Theron, Fiona Connolly to Sophia Bush, the celebs are clamouring to get their hands on a shades of mauve, lilac and lavender and here at J&J HQ we can't get of it enough either and have picked our favourite purple pieces.
We're absolutely in love with the gorgeous Jacquard print dress from Warehouse with its beautiful beaded collar.  Ditch your LBD, throw on some sterling silver and purple quartz J&J Love Beads and team this dress with some skyscraper heels and you have the perfect outfit for the party season.
We also love the Jack Wills purple skinnies.  They're perfect for dressing up or down but we think they'd look amazing with a sequined black top, some heels and our sterling silver wing bracelet!
If investing in a shade of purple for your wardrobe really isn't your thing, then remember you can always have a splash of it (or any colour!) on your wrist with our Candy Bones skull bracelet!

Skull Mania!

It's hard to ignore the fact that skulls are everywhere this season - and here at Jacy & Jools headquarters we couldn't be happier!  From the subtle and chic to outright garish, every shop seems to have their own take on this season's hottest trend and we've rounded up our favourite pieces from high street up to designer.
Topshop seem to have adopted skulls more than most and with their prices it's not going to break the bank!  We particularly like this burgundy embellished tee - throw it on with some skinny jeans and one of our new season black onyx Iced Bones bracelets for instant casual glam!
If, like us, being as warm as can be is your fashion priority this winter then I'm sure you'll be as in love with this cute flower-eyed skull jumper from French Connection as we are!  Team it with a chunky knit scarf and one of our cream Candy Bones - wrapping up never looked so good!
We've always been skull mad and this winter is no exception so head over to www.jacyandjools.co.uk to get your skull fix asap!

♥ Share The Love ♥

Check out our great new 'Share The Love' page, right here on the blog.  It's so good to get nice comments and positive feedback from our customers and you've been saying such lovely things about us we thought it would be nice to share some of them!
We value all our customers but it has been fab to receive some lovely endorsements from our celeb customers too!  We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Olivier Award nominated actress Rachel Leskovac recently.  Rachel's probably best known for playing hairdresser Natasha Blakeman in Coronation Street but has a string of credits to her name and was most recently seen in 'Accused' with Sean Bean.

Rachel's now a fan of our Candy Bones Collection which you can check out at Jacy&Jools.
Another Coronation Street actress is also a fan of Jacy&Jools.  Michelle Keegan and her cycling superstar cousin Katie Fearnehough are also fans of our collections!  Michelle was spotted recently at V Festival wearing her Jacy&Jools 'Pure' bracelet, as you can see from the photo.  There was much excitement, as you can imagine, when we saw this one!

We love to see your photos and read your tweets so if you've got a photo wearing your favourite Jacy&Jools please let us see it then we can ♥ share the love ♥

Who said summer was over!

Our lovely ITV regional weather man Fred tweeted today "the week ahead is starting to look rather good and the shorts can be unpacked"!  So on that very optimistic note we've turned our back briefly on thoughts of the Autumn/Winter Collection and we're taking a last admiring glance at our lovely summer collections.
As the banner says, Jacy & Jools love summer and all our gorgeous favourites in the Beach Bones, Summer of Love, Candy Bones and Summer Brights collections will be available on the website as long as there's the glimmer of sunshine still in the sky.

All our bracelets look fabulous on their own and look even better worn as a stack. With sterling silver and semi-precious beads to choose from there's something to suit everyone's taste and pocket.

Rocking Rockfest!

A bit of a departure for Jacy & Jools on Saturday when we decided to take our jewellery out on the road to Rodfest. As we left the motorway at Chester and travelled deeper and deeper into the Cheshire countryside I have to admit we did wonder what on earth we had let ourselves in for. Rodfest was a mini music festival organised by the lovely Caroline Jones for her husband Rod's 40th birthday. Mad or marvellous? We were unsure which as the roads gave way to tracks and the surrounding countryside looked waterlogged and soggy. Just as we thought Caroline's directions had maybe let us down doubt turned to delight as we spotted the first "Welcome to Rodfest" signpost. As we approached the tips of a cluster of tent tops could be seen on the horizon and we were met by a man on a quad with who we came to realise was a smiling and welcoming Caroline perched on the back. With the instructions, follow me, low gear and KEEP MOVING we were guided across an extremely muddy field to the festival site.

What greeted us was more like a settlement, a village of friends and a mini Glastonbury complete with porta-loos, main stage, tea tent and variety of hot food stalls. To say it was a feat of organisation was an understatement!
Pretty floral display in the tea tent
The Jacy & Jools stall was positioned in the very pretty tea tent.  Lovely and light and warm and beautifully decorating with gingham and little jars of flowers.
From the outset our stall was surrounded, even before we'd set up and eager little girls drawn like bees to the honey eyed up the jewellery.  Not surprisingly, when faces were adorned with painted peace signs, our Summer of Love and Summer Brights Peace bracelets were extremely popular but our jewellery in general was very well received and we spent the day smiling and chatting to lots of fabulous customers.
We even gave our new Jacy & Jools Home range its first outing and our pink Scrabble tile 'LOVE' frame was admired and then snapped up very quickly!

Caroline had carefully selected hand selected a small group of companies for the event and we had lovely neighbours for the day, two of whom were based very close to Jacy & Jools in Altrincham and one from Wrexham, not too far from the event.
Twisted Vintage were there with their fabulous retro and vintage clothing and homeware.

Many thanks to Caroline Jones for a great day at Rodfest and to the three lovely men who pushed us out of the mud at the end of the afternoon!
